For years we had been contemplating finally replacing the majority of lesser-quality contractor-grade carpeting and vinyl throughout our 2005-constructed house, with some type of wood flooring in the majority of the house, and better-quality vinyl in the "wet" rooms. In early 2013, we finally decided we were ready to pull the trigger. We spent weeks researching our options (including the challenge of installation in my home office, where the furniture I had installed in the time between original construction and the present is "virtually" built-in over the original carpet), and finally put together a spec with Rhodes Flooring America.
In late March 2013, over a 2-day period, the installation was accomplished. Here is an array of "before", "work in progress", and "after" pictures. I'm especially amazed at the seamless job they did in my office...you would never know that the new flooring is not wall-to-wall, and that there is still carpeting under those furniture pieces.
